The snow has prompted a few local Churches to cancel Sunday services and the Cranston Public Library will not have Sunday hours.
In Cranston, a number of local churches cancelled Sunday services, according to the RI Broadcasters closings and cancellations network.

A parking ban remains in effect until noon today.
Roads remain dangerous this morning as many secondary roads haven't been plowed yet or still have a covering of snow.
A high wind watch is in effect today, so officials are encouraging people to watch for falling limbs and power lines as the heavy snow weighs down on trees and the power grid. There's a chance of power outages as the wind picks up during the day.
