Babies: The William Hall Library hosts Book Babies today at 11 a.m. It's a time for infants to two-year-olds to enjoy songs, books, rhymes and playtime in an active session. No registration is required.
Concert: Music is Instrumental is holding its winter concert tonight at Cranston High School East. The event is sold out. Wallet: On this day last year on Cranston Patch: * Cranston Mayor Allan W. Fung is still smarting after a thief broke into his car overnight and stole his a number of gift cards, including a Dunkin' Donuts card.
Rain: We could see rain this afternoon, mainly after 4 p.m. with a high temperature of 41 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The rain will continue through the night and totals could amount to a half to three quarters of an inch by Friday morning.
