Lt. Saccoccia Wins ACI Parole and Probation Partner Award
Lt. Paul Saccoccia of Cranston Police was honored yesterday by the Adult Correctional Institutions for his work with Adult Probation and Parole, a community-based program.
Lt. Paul Saccoccia of Cranston Police was recognized at a ceremony yesterday morning at the Kent County Courthouse for his work with Adult Probation and Parole, a community-based program within the state Department of Corrections.
“We are grateful for this opportunity to recognize some of our Probation and Parole partners,” says Corrections Director Ashbel T. Wall. “The Corrections Department could not fulfill its mission of offender rehabilitation and community safety without them.”
The program's mission is to supervise offenders' community activities, provide them with comprehensive services and make sure they meet all the conditions of their parole or probation. This is to rehabilitate the offender, reintegrate them into society and keep the community safe.
