Rep. Handy Pedals to the State House

Rep. Arthur Handy (D-Dist. 18) and Rep. Teresa Tanzi (D-Dist. 34) took Bike to Work Week in stride.

Together, Reps. Arthur Handy (D-Dist. 18, Cranston) and Teresa Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, South Kingstown, Narragansett) avoided about 80 miles of driving during Bike to Work Week last week.

Handy rode his bike from his Cranston to Providence all week to his office and the State House.

Tanzi rode a RIPTA bus for part of her commute, using her bike to get to and from the stops to make her way to the state house.

Handy, who just announced his reelection bid, will have plenty of chances to pedal around town when he's out campaigning this summer and fall.
