Woman Found Dead in Garage, Police say Foul Play Suspected

Cranston Police said the death appears to be suspicious.

Cranston Police are investigating the discovery of a dead woman inside a garage at 391 Farmington Ave.

Cranston Police Major Robert W. Ryan said police are treating the death as suspicous.

Police said the body was found around 8:19 p.m. last night in a two-car garage after neighbors complained of a foul odor.

The woman is unidentified and in the custody of the state Medical Examiner's Office.

Police said they will release additional information as it becomes available.
