“Crafting for Critters” Spring Bazaar Supports Homeless Animals
The 10th Annual “Crafting for Critters” Spring Bazaar will be held outdoors on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Airport Professional Park, 2348 Post Road, Warwick, RI from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 
Hosted by Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter, over 70 artisans will be selling their locally handcrafted items just in time for Mother’s Day! Items for sale include fine art, jewelry, crafts, handcrafted accessories, garden items, apparel, home decor, baked goods, candies, jams &amp; jellies, dog treats, pet accessories, books and more. 
Admission and parking are free. Event is outdoors. Food trucks will be on the premises.

The JAYCEES Alumni invite you to a Springtime event of healthy outdoor activities, friendly and fun exchanges and demonstration of our community pride along with protection and preservation of our public lands.
An Arbor ECOLOGY DAY &amp; PEACE PRAYER CEREMONY will briefly offer A Spiritual Moment to reflect on the tremendous sacrifice that America enjoys in keeping the PEACE ... worldwide!
A Military Honor Guard &amp; Calling will be conducted with area Clergy, Veterans, Police &amp; Scouts who would graciously participate with their fellow Americans. ~ We welcome participants and those that want to perform!
Also, public remembrance will take place for the Station Fire Victims in cultivating 100 flowers along the Esplanade of the Arboretum.
~ We welcome Volunteers!
Volunteers can choose to assist the JAYCEES with a variety of horticultural activities such as planting flowers and shrubbery, spreading fresh mulch, watering planting beds and sprucing-up the area of the JAYCEE Corridor &amp; Arboretum and the portal entrance to the state Senator Donald Roch RIVERWALK at the Riverpoint COMMUNITY Park @ 110 Hay Street in W. Warwick ~ We welcome plant donations!

The 15th Annual “Cause for Paws” Car Show roars to life on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 171 Service Place, located at 171 Service Avenue (off Jefferson Blvd.), Warwick, RI 02886. Gates open at 9 am. Rain date is Sunday, July 21, 2024. 
Have a car to show off?&nbsp;Classic Cars, including Antiques, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Exotics, Rat Rods, plus Custom Cars and Fire Trucks along with all-year Corvettes are invited to exhibit. The vehicle registration fee is $20 per car and is from 9 AM to 12 PM, with free goody bags and commemorative Dash Plaques to the first 100 registrations. Free admission for all spectators.
Trophies will be awarded at 2 PM to the top 50 vehicles in the pre-2000 category and the top 6 in the 2000-2024 category, as voted by participants, including Best of Show, People’s Choice and Best Club Participation.
Enjoy oldies music by Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer, with food trucks and local artisans on-site. There will be door prizes, giveaways and raffles, including a 50/50 raffle.&nbsp;Meet adoptable shelter dogs! Donate new rolls or packages of waste (poop) bags for the shelter animals and receive an additional door prize ticket.


Be a part of our car show’s success! We are seeking donations of door prizes, goody bag items and raffle prizes to make our event unforgettable. Additionally, we are looking for sponsors for trophies and the event itself. Your contribution will be prominently showcased, and your support will help provide our shelter animals with emergency and veterinary services, medicines, special food, toys, treats, and other needed items.
