Hunger Games or Our Town? Pick your Library

What's happening in Cranston today?

Hunger Games: A film that consumed a lot of attention last year, The Hunger Games, is being shown at the Central Library tonight at 5:30 p.m. Best of all? It's free. Tickets can be picked up in the children's room at 5 p.m. With sequel Catching Fire set for a Nov. 22 release, this is a good time to freshen up on characters Katniss, Gale and Peeta. 

Our Town: The William Hall Library's reading group has picked Thornton Wilder's Our Town for this month's reading selection. Register for the event at 6:30 tonight by calling 401-781-2450 or email hall@cranstonlibrary.org

Sunny, but cold: It will be sunny with a high near 44 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be cold again with a low near 24.
