Snow Coming, Library Closing for Renovations

Snow: Get your shovels ready — snow's coming.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow today, with about 2 to 4 inches possible by the time it's over. At the same time, we'll be dealing with patchy fog and a high temperature of just 33. Tonight, the low temperature will fall to 19. It should clear up by tomorrow but remain cold through the rest of the week.

Closed: In case you missed it, the Auburn Branch of the Cranston Public Library system is closing for more than a month beginning at the end of this month. The library is getting a new HVAC system, necessitating the closure.

Commission: The Industrial Development Commission meets this morning at 8 a.m. at the Cranston Chamber of Commerce, 158 Midway Road, Suite 178.

Chadwick: Have you been to the William Hall Library recently? If not, you should check out Alex Chadwick's art on display. Chadwick, who draws mostly in pencil and charcoal, is hoping to bring his passion for art into the field of tattoo artistry. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
