The children of Cranston owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to this group of hard working VOLUNTEERS for keeping music alive and available. Shame on the school department, city council and mayor for not putting all their egos and petty differences aside and FOR ONCE think about what truly matters--THE KIDS!!!!

Nicole- How would politicians fill their campaign coffers if they put THE KIDS first? We have an election in November. Can we get rid of these so-called civic leaders that are destroying our communities with their gross incompetence and arrogant attitudes.

Chris12, I agree with you that there are some elected officials out there who's priorities are questionable. However, people are not lining up to run for office. As nice of a guy as he seems to be, our Mayor for the most part is absent from the City now that he is running for Governor. I don't see ANY elected officials keeping their promises about most issues. A few of the council guys used to do a blog here, that lasted what, a month? I wonder how many will come back now that I posted this?
