Raimondo Speaks to Families of the College Crusade

General Treasurer Gina Raimondo recently attended The College Crusade of RI’s financial coaching event as part of Treasury’s partnership with the organization.

 

Raimondo and representatives from the Capital Good Fund met with 70 families from the College Crusade to discuss the importance of saving and budgeting.

“Families from The College Crusade recognize the importance of financial empowerment,” said Raimondo. “Treasury and the Capital Good Fund are happy to help families prepare for their child’s future and make smart financial decisions.”

The Capital Good Fund offers a unique program where community members can receive one-on-one financial coaching as part of their goal to empower Rhode Islanders to take charge of their finances.
