Raimondo Spends Day in Cranston Visiting YMCA, Rotary, and MS Dream Center

General Treasurer Gina Raimondo recently visited the Cranston Rotary Club luncheon to speak to members about Treasury programs. She also took a tour of the Cranston YMCA to learn about services the center offers to the community. Afterwards, she visited the MS Dream Center.  This center engages all members with MS in purposeful activity, while promoting a spirit of camaraderie.

Raimondo addressed Rotary Club members at a luncheon and engaged in discussion by answering their questions regarding Rhode Island.

“I am proud to meet with civic leaders and community members to share how Treasury is helping Rhode Islanders,” said Raimondo. “Our state is trying to grow, and programs such as EverFi, the Financial Coaching Corps, and alternative payday lending are making Rhode Island stronger.”
