Someone in or near Cranston is having one heck of a good Christmas.
A Lucky for Life winning ticket was sold at Another Liquor Store at 311 Warwick Ave. in Cranston recently.
That means someone woke up on Christmas eve holding a ticket that will pay them $25,000 per year — for the rest of their life.
It's just the second $25,000 per-year win in Rhode Island since the state lottery launched the game in March 2012.
Lucky for Life's top prize is $1,000 per day for life, but we'd be happy with $25,000 per year as a consolation prize.
The winning ticket matched five numbers but came short of the grand prize by missing the Lucky Ball number.
