Cranston Family Searching for Missing Dog

Have you seen this dog? She's missing and lives in the Meshanticut/Cranston High School West area.

A Cranston family's dog is missing and her owners are asking for help tracking her down.

The dog, named Lei Lu, is described as a Black Lab/Shepard mix female. She's 8-years-old and has a docked tail. She lives in the Meshanticut Park/Cranston High School West area.

Her owners said "she is the best dog a family could ever ask for," in an e-mail message. 

"We adopted her from the Warwick Shelter 6 yrs ago, and she is the closest thing to Lassie you could ever hope to have."

Lei Lu may not come to strangers, but if you have a tennis ball, "she is your best friend."

She was last seen wearing a Thanksgiving-themed collar.

People on the RI Lost pets Facebook page reported seeing a similar dog in the Warwick Mall area by Route 2, but some of the information is conflicting.
