This dog was found in western Cranston recently and appears to have been thrown out of a moving car based on marks and scrapes on his paws and head.
The dog was found on Sunday off Natick Avenue near the Route 37 onramps.
According to comments on the RI LOST PETS Facebook Page, the dog has not been reported missing and was not wearing a collar.
The family who found the dog said they don't want to bring him to a shelter and are hoping that he's either claimed by the owner or someone who is responsible and can foster him will take him.
