Mayor Scoops for Make a Wish Foundation
Cranston Mayor Allan W. Fung was a guest scooper at Cold Stone Creamery to help raise money for two local Make-A-Wish Children.
In celebration of the 11th Annual World’s Largest Ice Cream Social at Cranston’s Cold Stone Creamery, benefiting Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Cranston Mayor Allan Fung joined the festivities this afternoon as a special guest “scooper” along with local Wish children Toluwani and Temitope Olarinde.
Throughout the month of September, Cold Stone Creamery stores across Rhode Island and Massachusetts are donating $1 from the sale of Make-A-Wish stars and on September 27th, will donate an additional $1 from the sale of any “Love It” or “Gotta Have It” (Medium or Large) size ice cream, yogurt or sorbet to Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The event is to help raise money for granting wishes across Rhode Island.
