Stay home if you can.

If you're thinking of venturing out today, maybe your should reconsider those plans.

The National Weather Service is forecasting sleet, rain and snow to continue through the day into tonight. And then, temperatures will drop into the teens tonight, turning whatever's on the ground into a icy sheet.

The bad conditions has prompted warnings from the state police, state Department of Transportation as well as the mayor's office, who said "if you don't need to be out, please stay home and be safe. Our crews are out there."

City residents were unhappy with the plowing job after the storm that rolled through earlier this week. With numerous complaints about unplowed side roads, the city yesterday said that they were working throughout the day yesterday to get them taken care of in anticipation of today's storm.
