Three Cranstonians Win Lottery Prizes

Three Cranston residents are feeling lucky after winning various prizes from the Rhode Island Lottery.

In the Daily Numbers game, a Cranston man won a total of $26,040 recently after he wagered $1 on five four-digit combination bets. He won $5,208 on each bet with the winning combination of 1932 — his birth year. The winning ticket was bout at the Atwood Avenue Stop and Shop.

Another Cranston man cashed in a $22,500 Keno Plus ticket. He wagered $1 on 7 spots and matched seven out of seven numbers to win the standard payout of $4,500.  However, since he opted to play an extra dollar for Keno Plus, and a 5X multiplier came up, his prized turned into $22,500. He plans to buy something nice for his wife this upcoming holiday season, especially since he played her numbers! The winning ticket was purchased at Convenience Plus, 1501 Atwood Ave., Johnston.

Tuesday's Mega Millions® drawing had a 5X multiplier come up, and a Cranston man is very happy to win $2,500!  His ticket matched four numbers, but not the Mega Ball number, for a standard payout of $500.  But since he opted to play the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager, his prize increased to $2,500. Prior to the game change on October 20, the standard payout for matching four numbers and not the Mega Ball number was $150 and the highest multiplier was 4X.
