Who is This Mystery Girl? Negatives Found in 1933 Yearbook

These photos depict a young woman and they are from negatives Cranston resident and history buff George Daigneault found in an old 1933 Cranston yearbook.

Cranston resident George Daigneault is a fan of history. He tends graves at Pocasset Cemetery in Cranston, finds buried headstones and tracks down stones for family members around the world.

Now, he's on a new mission and it's a bit of a mystery.

These photos depict a young woman and they are from negatives Daigneault found in an old 1933 Cranston yearbook.

Daigneault wants to know if anyone can recognize her.

"If alive, [she'd] be in her late 90s," Daigneault said.

The negatives were a strip of black and whites and they depict a pretty and relatively bookish girl with glasses and curly locks.

Also included is a photo of the front of a house. The house is similar to many Victorianesque homes in the Edgewood neighborhood, though there's no indication that it's from that part of the city.

If you recognize her, chime in. Let's solve this mystery, Cranston
