Tickets Still Available for Feb. Michael Bolton Show

He is one of the most recognizable and successful singer-songwriters of his generation, and on Saturday, February 8, Michael Bolton will take the stage of the historic Park Theatre in Cranston for what promises to be an electric performance. Tickets are currently on sale and selling quickly.

While Bolton released his first recordings in the late 1970s and early 1980s, he took the music world by storm with the release of his six-time Multi-Platinum album, Soul Provider in 1989, featuring the #1 hit “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”—which earned Bolton his first Grammy. This career-changing album also includes the hit singles, “When I’m Back on My Feet Again,” How Can We Be Lovers,” and the Grammy-nominated, “Georgia on My Mind.”

By 1991, Bolton—with his distinct tenor voice and poignant lyrics—was one of the most popular and sought-after artists in the world. With the release of Time, Love & Tenderness, which topped the Billboard 200 chart thanks to four Top 40 singles: “When a Man Loves a Woman,” “Love is a Wonderful Thing,” “Time, Love & Tenderness,” and “Missing You Now,” Bolton achieved superstardom. The album has sold more than 16 million copies across the globe, making it his best-selling album to date.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bolton has sold over 53 million albums—including eight that reached the Top Ten—and been recognized with multiple Grammy and American Music Awards. As a songwriter, his legendary talent has brought him a combined 24 Broadcast Music, Inc. and American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Awards. In 2012, he was named by People Magazine as the “Sexiest Man Alive” and also stakes claim to a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Using his fame to help others, Bolton has long been a social activist and has been honored with several humanitarian awards, including the Martin Luther King Award from the Congress of Racial Equality. His foundation, Michael Bolton Charities, is in its 20th year advocating on behalf of women and children at risk.

Michael Bolton will perform at the Park Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8. Tickets are $55 and $65 and available by calling the Box Office at (401) 467-7275 or online at www.ParkTheatreRI.com. The Park Theatre is located at 848 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. Free parking is available for all shows.
