Community Update

I received a call from Budget asking me when I was going to bring the truck back. I have never been a budget customer, nor will I ever be. When I told the person on the phone that I didn't rent a truck, the man grew angry and aggressive with me saying "oh now you are pretending like you don't know what I am talking about." After the man continued to harass me for the next minute or two he asked me "are you Cappucci?" He told me that he was tired of me dodging him and that they were issuing a warrant for my arrest. He said "this is 529-2234 right?" I said no, you dialed the wrong number. No apology, no nothing, just a "thanks buddy." It was a wonderful interruption to my day at work, quite embarassing as well as this person was screaming in my ear. I called customer care and they basically told me they don't care and there's nothing they could do to me. Well, I will invite myself to review Budget rental, and based on my experience I will spread my budget story on social media and through word of mouth. Stay away from this company, poor customer service, and apparently if you are late to turn in your truck, prepare to be harassed.
