Plans are underway to turn a Reservoir Avenue eyesore into a new credit union branch.
On Wednesday, the city's Development Plan Review Committee will pick up a proposal by RI Credit Union, Inc., to develop the site at 860 Reservoir Ave. into a branch credit union with a drive-thru.
The project proposes demolishing the old Bickford's restaurant building and replacing it with a 3,000 square foot building with "associate parking, drainage mitigation and landscaping."
The vacant site is about 34,724 square feet and zoned C-1 Commercial Zoning District.
