Cadence Science came to Cranston after buying a 43,000-square-foot facility at 2080 Plainfield Pike in 2009 and renovating it.

Cadence Science is part of Cadence Inc. The company started in 1985 as Specialty Blades, manufacturing high performance cutting blades for industrial use. Today, Cadence In. encompasses the manufacturing facility in Cranston as well as Incision Tech and Specialty Blades located in Staunton, Va.

This manufacturing facility houses state-of-the-art equipment and skilled workers who produce surgical tools for minimally invasive surgery, among other products.
