Whole Foods Salad Recalled For Undeclared Allergen

The salads, which contained edamame but were not labeled as containing soy products, were sold at Whole Food stores on May 22.

Whole Foods Market is recalling packages of Thai Soba Noodle Salad sold in local stores for an undeclared soy allergen, including its store in Cranston.

The state Department of Health said the product contains edamame, or soybeans, as an ingredient, and people with soy allergies could have a serious or fatal reaction if they eat the product.

The Whole Foods Market Kitchens salad was labeled as Whole Foods Market Thai Soba Noodle Salad under their "Health Starts Here" category.
