Greenwood Credit Union Celebrates Completed Renovations;

Activities Scheduled Sept 23-27

WARWICK, RI –Greenwood Credit Union is celebrating the completion of its renovations with a week-long open house that will take place from September 23-27. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, September 23, at 9:30 a.m., featuring special guests Mayor Scott Avedisian and Senator Bill Walaska, GCU’s Chairman of the Board. The Renovation Celebration will continue throughout the week with refreshments, giveaways, and a special “Name our Fish” contest for children age 12 and under, as well as raffles for a Mountain Bike, and a Flat Screen TV, among other prizes.

GCU is hosting these festivities as they share their new look with the public. Jim Irving, GCU president/CEO comments, “We are excited about our new design, the streamlined layout and increased efficiency of our office space. We hope our members will enjoy the improvements, structurally and aesthetically. We immediately saw how much the children are attracted to the fish tank.”
