It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a...Superhero Window Cleaner!

On Sept. 23, Hasbro Children’s Hospital patients received a special visit from a few of their favorite superheroes. Three employees of Fish Window Cleaning made a change from their typical day of fighting dirt and grime.  On this day, they suited up as Superman (Paul Tharp), Spiderman (Ben Magowan) and Captain America (Carl Pieranunzi) to scale Hasbro Children’s Hospital and offer their superpower strength and support to cheer on children, families and staff of the hospital.

“It was a pleasure to work hand-in-hand with Hasbro Children’s Hospital to do something special for the children,” said David Cotter, owner of Fish Window Cleaning in Rhode Island.  “These kids are the real superheroes.   The best part was seeing the smiles and providing a little distraction from the challenges these children take on every day.”   

This was the first time the superheroes of Fish Window Cleaning visited Hasbro Children’s Hospital and it is their hope to make more visits in the future.

“We look forward to reaching out to other organizations that could benefit from a visit from our superhero team,” said Cotter.  “If we can bring a smile to a child’s face then our superhero team has done their job.”
