Lucky Cranston Woman Claims $40,000 Prize
The woman said she's not sure how she'll spend the money.
The $40,000 winning PowerBall ticket sold for the Feb. 13 drawing has claimed her prize.
The woman, from Cranston, told lottery officials that she always chooses the PowerPlay feature when she buys PowerBall tickets. The extra $1 meant her payout of $10,000 for matching four numbers and the PowerBall jumped to $40,000.
The winning ticket was purchased from ABC Gas on 1036 Reservoir Ave.
