Madelyn Shaw will be discussing her new book "Homefront & Battlefield: Quilts and Context in the Civil War" on November 15, at 7:00 pm at the William Hall Library.
This presentation takes place in conjunction with an exhibit at the American Textile History Museum in Lowell, MA, where Shaw is a scholar and researcher.
Cranston, Providence and East Providence Public Libraries, recently collaborating in the Civil War reading series "Making Sense of the Civil War," will be collaborating to host this presentation as well.
Copies of "Homefront & Battlefield" will be available for purchase.
The programs is free and open to the public and the William Hall Library is handicapped accessible.
