Foreclosure Legal Clinic

Do you have questions about your mortgage? Are you a tenant

living in a foreclosed home? Join the Housing Action Coalition and the Rhode

Island Bar Association for the Foreclosure

Legal Clinic on Thursday, October 24th from 4pm to 6pm at 1070 Main

Street in Pawtucket

The Foreclosure Legal Clinic is an event for homeowners and
renters to discuss concerns about foreclosure. Attendees will have a private
and confidential appointment with an attorney, and a housing counselor and
additional resources will be available.


The event will include refreshments and walk-ins are
welcome. Bilingual Spanish to English translation will also be available. If
you know any friends, co-workers, or neighbors who might benefit from this information, please share it with them.

The Rhode Island Bar Association and the Housing Action Coalition
of Rhode Island have developed a partnership to ensure homeowners and tenants facing foreclosure have the legal assistance they need to make informed decisions about their housing situations.
The Housing Action Coalition was created to inform Rhode
Island residents of their rights as tenants and homeowners, and to encourage the government to implement better housing laws for Rhode Island residents. Its mission is to promote, preserve, and increase affordable housing opportunities
in Rhode Island.  The objectives of the
Rhode Island Bar Association are to represent the legal profession, serve the
public and the profession and promote justice, professional excellence and
respect for the law.
