New England Revolution Hold Second-Annual National Anthem Auditions At Lansdowne Pub

The New England Revolution is once again giving local musicians the opportunity to perform in the same venue where superstars like One Direction, George Strait and Tim McGraw will play this summer. Ahead of its second annual National Anthem Auditions in March, the Revolution is looking for talented soloists, groups, instrumentalists and other unique musicians to perform the anthem at the team’s 2014 home games at Gillette Stadium.

Anthem hopefuls can submit their sample performances digitally before Wednesday, March 12th at 4 p.m. To be considered for the live auditions, submit an .mp3, .mp4 or YouTube video link to anthems@revolutionsoccer.net, using the subject: “National Anthem Submission” with the following information included in the body of the email:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Performance experience

A select group of applicants will be called back for the live final auditions held at The Lansdowne Pub in Boston on Wednesday, March 19 at 6:00 p.m. Selected finalists will perform songs of their choice in front of an esteemed group of celebrity guest judges who will then choose three winners to perform the National Anthem at Gillette Stadium during a Revolution home game this season. All performers will be asked to sing a cappella and without note cards.

A representative of the Revolution will contact performers selected for live auditions. Due to the large volume of entries expected, no phone calls or emails inquiring about the status of a submission will be accepted.

More information on the national anthem auditions is available at http://www.revolutionsoccer.net/tickets/promotions.

Season tickets for the 2014 New England Revolution season are on sale and start at $342 for 18-game packages. Four- and six-game plans are also available. Call 1-877-GET-REVS or visit revolutionsoccer.net for more information about these plans or any other ticket option.
