For me, back to school brings back memories of stiff new pants and butterflies in my stomach as I got on the big yellow bus for the first time of the year.
Here I am on the left. This photo was taken in 1983 and I was off to kindergarten. On the right, my brother Eric is dapper and ready for fourth grade with a vintage bag that I could see him hauling around today.
