Town and School Offices:

  • Cranston Public Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.
  • Cranston City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
  • Cranston Public Librarys will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday and will reopen Friday.
  • Post Offices are closed Thursday.
  • Cranston Police and Fire departments will be closed Thursday and Friday for clerical and records purposes.
  • Department of Human Services is closed Thursday and Friday.

Retail Stores/Pharmacies:

Walmart - Closing at 10 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday. Will reopen at 1 a.m. Friday.

CVS - Both locations will be open normal hours Thursday and Friday. (Tiogue Ave. - 24 hours, New London Tpke. - 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.)

Walgreens - Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Normal hours Friday.

Rite Aid - Store will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the pharmacy 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Thursday. Normal hours Friday.

Grocery/Liquor Stores:

Stop & Shop - Closed Thursday, regular hours (6 a.m. - midnight) on Friday.

Tom's Market - Closed Thursday, regular hours (8 a.m. - 7 p.m.) on Friday.

Dave's Marketplace - Closed Thursday, regular hours (7 a.m. - 9 p.m.) on Friday.

Banks:

All Cranston locations are closed on Thanksgiving, open regular hours Friday.
