Council President John Lanni: No Email For Weeks

During the city council meeting on Monday 25th Council President John Lanni was addressed by Suzanne Arena about his inability to respond to her emails that she sent in the beginning of January. Council President Lanni mentioned that his basement had been flooded so he hadn't been able to read his email in 2 weeks.

What year does Council President Lanni think we are in? When Cranstonians have an issue they can message our wonderful Mayor right on his facebook page, and in some cases get a response in hours!

I cannot imagine a "leader" in the 21st century who does not check their email on a regular basis. Cranston residents expect more from our Council President. At least now maybe Mr. Lanni will be able to read his constituents emails on that "fancy new ipad thing" the council are getting. Please!
