Watching TV Tonight Costs Average Cranston Homeowner $7,500

City Council Meeting Tuesday May 10th at 830PM @ City Hall

Over 80 thousand people call Cranston home. Last week there were 30 people at the special city council meeting. One out of every 2,667 people in our city showed up for the most important meeting of the year. Let that sink in.

I think the typical Cranston resident needs to understand that they need to be there Tuesday May 10th at 830 PM on the 3rd floor of city hall. You don’t need to speak or ask any questions, heck you don’t even have to listen you just have to be there. Watch the process – you pay taxes don’t you? If you’re a renter part of that money you give your landlord every month is going towards their taxes. If their taxes go up what do you think is going to happen to your rent?

You cannot sit at home on Tuesday night and then complain about your taxes or that your streets are not being cleaned. Here is your chance to attend the second half of the most important city council meeting in Cranston this year. Not only will this meeting prove to be entertaining you and the kids might actually learn something.

Finally you might be wondering how watching TV tonight costs so much money? The 3.99 percent increase the city is proposing is 150 dollars per year and if you plan on staying in the city for the next 50 years thats $7,500 out of your pocket.

Just come to the meeting.
