Obituary: Loretta (Gentile) Gerrish

Loretta (Gentile) Gerrish, 81, of Warwick (formerly of Cranston) passed away on Sunday September 23, 2012 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late Martin Gerrish. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Loretta (Bartolomeo) Gentile. Loretta was a Meal Site Manager for the Cranston Senior Center for eighteen years before her retirement.

She was the devoted mother of Frank Gerrish and his wife Jill of Fruit Heights, Utah and the loving grandmother of five. She was the sister of the late Mary Palmaccio, Elena Freda, Filomena Long and Frank Gentile Jr. Loretta is also survived by eight nieces and two nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston Street Cranston at 10 a.m.

Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
