Obituary: Ann G. (Gudoyan) Maccarone

Ann G. (Gudoyan) Maccarone, 75, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Ann G. (Gudoyan) Maccarone, 75, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Constantino A. “Tony” Maccarone.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nazareth and Carmela (Lapolla) Gudoyan. Ann was a lifelong employee of New England Telephone and Telegraph Company in various capacities, before her retirement in 1996 and was a proud member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Ann Marie Maccarone and her husband Michael S. Pezzullo of Cranston. She was the dear sister of Judith DeFrancesco of Exeter and Joyce Corey of Warwick; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark in Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
