David C. Moretti, Sr., 68, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the fiancé of Shirley Adcock and former husband of Mary Lou Moretti and Sharon Moretti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah (Fusco) Moretti.
David was the founder of Moretti Perlow & Bonin Law Offices in Cranston for 35 years, before retiring. He graduated Cranston High School East in 1963, Providence College in 1969 and Syracuse University College of Law in 1973.
He was the father of David C. Moretti, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Joseph D. Moretti of Smithfield and Justin Votolato of Providence and grandfather of Halie Papa. David was the brother of Gloria Moretti Laurie and her husband Bill of Cranston and the late Daniel Moretti and his wife Judith Fitzsimon of Fairhaven, MA. He was the uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews, who loved and admired him along with an infinite number of friends.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Monday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew’s Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave. Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
