Desiree M. Marcello, 50, of Scituate Ave., Cranston, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

Desiree M. Marcello, 50, of Scituate Ave., Cranston, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Born in Providence, she was the loving daughter of Julian M. and Olivia M. (Felix) Marcello of Cranston. 

Desiree lived in Cranston before moving to Tampa, FL where she lived for 25 years returning in 2011.  She graduated from RI College in 1984 and was a training manager in the international software industry for many years. She participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk and was a lover of animals.

Besides her parents, she was the loving granddaughter of Mary Felix of East Providence; dear sister of Julian M. Marcello, Jr. and his wife Denise, Stephanie M. Marcello-Macko and her husband Andrew and Joseph M. Marcello and his wife Danielle all of Cranston; and loving aunt of Destiny, Michael, Gian, Jayden and Giuliana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
