Obituary: Dolores L. (Saravo) Ruggieri, 84

Dolores L. (Saravo) Ruggieri, 84, of Cranston passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

Dolores was the beloved wife of Anthony G. Ruggieri. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Caruolo) Saravo. Dolores was a graduate of URI and a member of St. Anthony’s Guild.

In addition to her husband, Dolores is survived by her loving children, Kim Madden and her husband Tom of Cranston, Ricky Ruggieri and his wife Lori of Hope, Steven Ruggieri and his wife Lori of Centerville MA, and Chip Ruggieri and his wife Kristi of East Sandwich MA. She is the cherished grandmother of Tom, Adam, Alyssa, Eric, Domenic, Kyle, Samantha, Sean, and Ethan, a great-grandmother of Ryan and Caroline, the sister of Florence Gardner of Greenville and the late Tom Saravo.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be in St Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8pm.
