Obituary: Domenico Scotti

Domenico Scotti, 95, of Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.

He was the beloved husband of Teresa A. (Scotto DiUccio) Scotti.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Biagio and Jennie (Bafaro) Scotti.

Mr. Scotti was co-owner of the former Scotti & Son Oil in Providence and was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Biagio J. Scotti, Jenny L. Caneschi and her husband David, Domenico Scotti, Jr. and Luigi J. Scotti and his wife Tracie; loving grandfather of Jessica, Domenic, Nicholas, Michael and Matthew; and dear brother of the late Louise Scotto, Angie Micheletti and Antonio Scotti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 10 a.m.  Entombment with military honors will be in Mother of Hope Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
