Donald J. Brooks, 75, of Dyer Ave., Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at RI Hospital in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Harriet A. (Boss) Brooks.
Donald was a plumber for the U.S. Government at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Providence for over 20 years before retiring; and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He was the father of Donald J. Brooks, Jr. of Riverside, Robin L. Flynn of Warwick and Penny E. Neves of North Scituate; stepfather of Steven Lemos of Cranston and William Lemos of Florida; brother of Roberta A. Bathgate of Warwick, Kenneth Brooks of Maryland, Joyce A. Anastos of North Carolina and Warwick, Richard A. Brooks of Warwick, David W. Brooks of Pawtucket and Lori J. Brooks of Connecticut; and grandfather of fifteen.
