Elvira "Helen" (Iannelli) Tartaglia100, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston.

Elvira "Helen" (Iannelli) Tartaglia, 100, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Giosue “Jess” “Joe” Tartaglia.  Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena (D’Agostino) Iannelli.

Mrs. Tartaglia was the devoted mother of Jean Lucier, Marie Feeley and her husband James, John Tartaglia and his wife Lona, all of Johnston and the late George Tartaglia; loving grandmother of 5; loving great-grandmother of 5; and dear sister of Joseph Iannelli of Johnston and the late  Mary Marietti, Gloria Izzo, Giacomo, Pasco, George, Anthony and Alesio Iannelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 11th at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. 

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
