Obituary: Fiore M. Lepizzera, 88

Fiore M. Lepizzera, 88, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the devoted husband of Emily (Seamans) Lepizzera.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Michael and Rosina (Stamegna) Lepizzera. Fiore was an electrician for over 50 years and is a WWII Army Veteran.   

Mr. Lepizerra was a member of the Board of Trustees for the St. Mary’s Feast Society, member of the City Hall Athletic Club, member of the Knightsville Seniors, President of the Brown University Credit Union and the Head of the Electrical Shop at Brown University.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters: Donna Caldamone of Cranston and Debbie Catelli of Johnston. Fiore was the adored grandfather of Matthew and Michael Catelli and John and Lauren Caldamone; great grandfather of Joseph, Ciana, Adriana and Owen Catelli. He was the brother of Frank Lepizzera and the late Tommy, Carlo, Joseph, and Fannie Lepizzera, Jennie Bianco and Elizabeth Pitocco. Fiore was the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
