Gloria A. (Martin) Conte, 75, of Cranston previously of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Conte, Sr. they were married 59 years.

Gloria was born in New York City, N.Y., a daughter of the late Antonio and Pauline (Hernandez) Martin. Mrs. Conte was a co-owner of Stella Realty in Providence and was also employed by the Providence City Council.
Besides her beloved husband she is survived by her loving sons, Anthony Conte of Warwick; Alfred Conte Jr. of Mass.; Lawrence Conte of Mass.; Michael Conte of Cranston; Kenneth Conte of North Providence and she was also the cherished grandmother of 10.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 am from the , 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
