Obituary: James E. Fowler

James E. Fowler, 76, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Gloria (DiBiase) Fowler.  Born in Stonington, CT he was the son of the late Clarence and Lillian (Lamphere) Fowler.  James worked in maintenance for the Cranston Housing Authority for many years until his retirement.  Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Laurie Keith of Westerly, Fred Fowler of Hopkinton, and Kathy Braden of Westerly; his grandchildren Joshua, James, Timothy, Shane, Christopher, and Brenden; and was grandfather of the late Taran.  He was the dear brother of Wayne Fowler of Norwich, CT, Phillip Fowler of Center Conway, NH and the late Mary DeStefano, Nancy Woodrow, Jane DiMeo, Bruce Fowler, and Nelson Fowler.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS are Saturday morning 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, One Wellington Rd., Lincoln, R.I. 02865.
