** This was written by John's wife Patricia for all to read:

"The last song has been sung Johnny "Hot Guy" Pryor has left the building!!" For all those who knew Johnny they all knew how much he loved to sing and dance, a true entertainer. He will be missed dearly by many, many friends. Johnny had a heart of gold and also had the biggest heart of anyone I had ever met. He truly loved his friends and family. One of his very special friends Louise Herrington-Bright was by his side during this very difficult time. She truly is an angel.

Johnny thought the world of her and she thought the world of him. Being Johnny's wife I would just like to say thank you to Louise for being there not only for him but for myself as well. Friends like Louise come along once in a lifetime. I would also like to thank everyone else who called or came by to see Johnny during his last few days.

Johnny's babies (as he called them) the kitties have been going from room to room looking for him because he sang to them daily and they would come running as soon as they heard him. Even when he didn't feel well he always had a song for them and me. Johnny and I spent a wonderful 26 years together and there is nothing I would change. Johnny was one of a kind! So for now we say farewell to a special man but it's not a good-bye is more like "See you when we get there". I am sure there is a lot of singing going on in heaven right now. As Johnny always said to me "You are my reasons, you are all of my reasons" I just want you all to know he was beyond my reasons he was my everything and he will be missed immensely. See you on that bench Poppy.
