Obituary: John M. Cuddemi, 78, Veteran, Manager, Father

John M. Cuddemi, 78, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (DiLorenzo) Cuddemi. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Vincenza (Meschino) Cuddemi. 

John served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crises. He was the District Manager for Hartz Mountain Company for 30 years, before retiring. Upon retirement he worked for Maro Display. 

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Ret. C.P.D. Michael J. Cuddemi and his wife Lisa, and Tracy A. Petrella and her husband Mark C.P.D. all of Cranston; loving grandfather of Adriana and Miranda Petrella and Michael and Jake Cuddemi. He was the dear brother of Santina Leonard and Marie Stabile and her husband Edmund, all of Cranston and the late Vito Cuddemi. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
