Obituary: Leo R. Caldarella, 82

Leo R. Caldarella, 82of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-eight years to Dorothy A. (DeCristofaro) Caldarella.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Leo and Anna (Zabbo) Caldarella. Leo was a jewelry designer for over twenty years for various jewelry companies in the Providence area.  He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. Leo was a member of the Cranston Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Michael L. Caldarella and his wife Bonnie of Cumberland, and Richard A. Caldarella of Cranston. He was the brother of Anne Caldarella, and Rita Poli both of North Providence, and the late Dena Luongo and Joseph Caldarella.

His VISITING HOURS will be held on Saturday 2-4 p.m. followed by a memorial talk at 4:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
