Louis Ciorlano, Sr., 87, of Cranston, passed away on Friday January 11, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence

He was the beloved husband of Gladys (Bacon) Ciorlano.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Victoria (Lisi) Ciorlano.

Louis was the owner and proprietor of the Cranston Physical Therapy Treatment Center, Inc. on Warwick Avenue for 30 years.  Prior to opening his own business he was the Chief Physical Therapist for the Rhode Island Veterans Home for 10 years.  Louis was a WW II Veteran, serving in both the Army and Navy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Louis Ciorlano, Jr. and his wife Susan of Cranston, Victoria Arrico and her husband Robert of Coventry, and Dorothy Ferranti and her husband Vincent of East Providence; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Cameron, Andrea, Jacqueline, Stephen, and Matthew, and Dawn; his 8 great grandchildren; his 1 great-great grandchild.  He was also the grandfather of the late Denise.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston.  Interment with Military Honors will be in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  VISITING HOURS are Tuesday 4-8 p.m.  Kindly omit flowers.
