Margaret Crowley, 86, of Cranston passed away peacefully November 17, 2013 at home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Crowley Sr. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Pasquale and Filomena (Cassino) DiBello. Mrs. Crowley was a Registered Nurse for The State of RI before retiring. She also served as an Army Nurse. Peggy was a graduate of Salve Regina College.
She is survived by her beloved children Joseph F. Crowley Jr. and his wife Mary, Carole Crowley, Jeanne Letoile and her husband Stephen and Mitzi Schortmann and her husband Bruce, and her adopted daughter Sharon Stolte. Loving grandmother of Jillian and Shannon and the late Joseph F. Crowley III. Loving great grandmother of 4 great grandchildren. Sister of John DiBello and the late Frederick DiBello. Sister-in-law of Mary DiBello. Also survived by her devoted friend James O'Connell.
Her funeral was Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from ''WOODLAWN'' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, Cranston.
Burial will be in Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery.
