Margery J. Dwyer, 69, passed away on December 13, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Margery J. Dwyer, 69, passed away on December 13, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Dwyer Sr. to whom she was happily married for forty-three years.

She was the daughter of Madeline (Gilleran) Campbell and the late John Campbell. She was a graduate of St. Peter School and St. Xavier Academy.

She had been an Executive Secretary in the Office of the Superintendent of the Smithfield School Department for fourteen years before leaving to raise a child. She was the past president of the Garden City PTA.

She attended classes at Providence College in the successful pursuit of a Real Estate Broker’s License. More recently Margery was an Administrative Assistant at the Holy Name School in Providence and the St. Brendan School in Riverside. Above all, she was a devout Catholic.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son Joseph E. Dwyer Jr. Esq., and his lovely wife Joanne. Other survivors include four beautiful sisters: Carolyn Carlton, Marilyn Fair, Beverly Magrath, and Madelyn White along with their husbands Mickey, Joe, Harly, and Dave as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30 am in St. Mark Church, Garden City Cranston with the burial following in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning prior to the Funeral Mass beginning at 8:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Jimmy Fund would be appreciated.
